stan worked a double on sunday - i stayed home and sent him pictures. you know BECAUSE HE REALLY NEEDS TO SEE PICTURES OF HIS CATS. i also sent one of my belly. this i will not share with you my dear reader.

it's been a really long month. in some ways, very nice. i am still in love with my husband of 5 plus months and we're moving to a bigger apartment and i still have a job and some of the money we give the government will come back to us. but it's been really hard too. the death of my cat was incredibly hard. it still is. i didn't think i was one of those cat ladies. i know they're cats and not people and i actually laugh @ onion headlines like 'woman thinks cat misses her' but last night as i was going to sleep, i started crying again for him. i guess you have a meowationship* for almost 11 years, it's gonna be hard to just not have it any more. i catch myself praying to God to make sure he gets petted and brushed knowing full well that he's dead, pickle head! but he can't be. he was just in bed with me cuddling. ah, it hurts.
i thought i actually had things to report. i still read. i am sure you've all been wondering but since i posted every book i read last year, i figured i'd give you a break from me and the bad books i read. i think i had a goal this year to read 12 'good for me' books. i'll start that in may. yeah. totes. i think i'm gonna read war & peace. so maybe i'll read just 1 good for me books this year. what are you doing with your life? huh? stop judging me.
i'm still at work - can you tell? i miss you - that's all! hi!
*i've never used the word meowlationship before but i find it really odd to say relationship in relation to a cat.
In meoworiam. We will miss you, Boo Radley. May there be many open doors, open cans of cat food & warm feet to sleep on for mine will be cold tonight.
this is cali - she's got a heart on her ass. she's looking @ ernie - the cookie jar that holds her heart. she sits up there a lot. you know what they say - love unrequited and all that.
hey summer fans. how about that weekend, eh? kind of dam ass prefect weather wise. and for me, all over wise. i didn't do anything and here's a picture of something i can't do* but instead took a picture - so, ok, i did something.
*while i can cuddle with cats, i can't cuddle nearly as sweetly as cats can
so yeah. about two weeks ago, on the snowy friday ... the snowiest friday of them all, i went on three auditions. one was for a like squirel & a dolphin mix or another squeaky animal and a dolphin, the other was for an 8 year old brittish boy and the third was for two different animals - a pig & a whale.
the good news is, i got the pig! oink. i'm going to be on another new pbs show called word worlds coming this fall. reoccuring as well and i got to tape it today. it was really fun. who doesn't want to oink? if you say you don't, then i feel sad for you and i will light a candle for you somewhere.
nicer news, i get another pick-up next week.
here's my problem. i need to have a convo with my agent about the amount of times i'm sent out because i should average 3 times a week, and right now, i'm averaging about 4 times a month.
